I’ve heard of a couple if people having offers revoked who did so. Those companies probably aren’t great to work for. Don’t listen to this bowl. If you are happy with the offer and it’s along the lines of what you discussed, then only do it if you want. The market is different now. I tried to negotiate a couple of years ago and was told they gave me their best. I didn’t get anything more.
It depends on the type of company.. many industries bake in negotiation. Tech, for one
You can’t truly negotiate until you have the total comp package. If you want to try after you receive it, then do that.
