Sounds in line with market for non production role
I agree, seems pretty good for a non-production role. That’s where you really start to make money in this business.
How many years of experience do you have and will the role involve any sales?
I think the comp is fair for the years of experience and that the job has zero sales or production involved. I haven’t seen many roles creeping far past that point unless there is a production component or you build very sticky relationships over many years and become an important piece in maintaining those relationships
2.5 years of experience in wealth previously at MSWM and 3 years of experience at an asset manager as an internal. The role will not have sales.
What will you be doing for the team?
What city?
Seems reasonable, but potentially a little on the low side. I work at an RIA / MFO based in Boston with 5 years professional experience (3.5 years in a client facing role doing valuation at PwC, and a 1.5 years in current role) base is $100k, bonus range 10-30% potentially more
