The healthiest thing you could do is try to move away from the need for perfection. That said, low weight and high reps can help tone, so try leg extensions, bicep curls, and tricep extensions.

PLUS quarantine has a way of making me feel extra hard on myself. Try to do the best you can and it’s ok to not be perfect

some areas that I probably have genetic inclination towards having more fat like my thighs and my arms? I know you can’t “target” fat loss but has anyone had success with toning down in these areas?

I’ve hit a plateau on the keto diet (no weight loss in 3 months). So in addition to walking 5 miles a day (been doing this since month 2), on Sunday I started a Beachbody HIIT workout with weights (21 day fix real time). It’s 30 min workout daily and I’m two workouts in and I can barely move. Also, the muscle cramps are for real! Drinking about 80 ounces of water a day and I soaked in an Epsom salt bath last night, any other tips?

The best analogy given to me is you would treat diabetics with insulin so why not consider prescriptions to help mental health. 2020 has thrown more at me than I’m able to handle. Has anyone here noticed a significant improvement after a prescription to help psych issues?

I’m having a really hard time with my changing body. 13 weeks, I don’t have too many bad side effects of pregnancy or anything so I consider myself lucky (no nausea ever etc) but I’m depressed at work, my skin is completely broken out and showing new broken face capillaries, and I’m not showing a bump yet so I just feel fat and big. I don’t know where this “glow” is but I look in the mirror and literally am grappling with not recognizing myself :( it’s been impossible to find any clothes too.

Is there such place as non toxic ID firm? Or does any of ID attys like what they do? I moved from general practice to an ID firm six months ago. Biggest mistake of my life. Out of curiosity. How would a company view a potential candidate who has a period of unemployment to study for the CPA. Whenever i have a big deadline, my body goes into a panic mode where my energy immediately goes to figuring out how I’ll get something done well and on time. Outwardly, I don’t seem stressed so no one notices but actually I usually feel like I have a cold: fatigue, headache, sore throat, sinus infection. When a task is done, i stop feeling like crap. It’s been like this since law school. Any tips on managing stress or moving towards doing good work without my body shutting down lol?

I have been trying this cold therapy not for fat loss but for my mental well-being. I usually do 30 secs on and off for 3-4 times in shower and not sure if it is placebo effect but I instantly feel really good. Andrew Huberman has several podcasts on this topic if anybody is interested.
