Recently I've been trying to get into PM but have been failing at getting interviews. Google just reached out for a PgM role. It's not product tho so I'm hesitant. What do yall think? Also is it possible to internally transition to PM at google after a while?

I sent from my work email a follow-up email to two people at another firm who I interviewed with. I sent from my iPhone and for some reason iPhone auto populated my work email instead of personal (even though I had previously only used personal to communicate with the other firm). I immediately realized the mistake (after double checking the sent box of personal and then the sent box of work email), and “recalled” and double deleted the message in outlook. Will employer likely see the email?

But suprisingly after a week I got call from recruiter stating 1st interview is cleared and there is a HR round without any L2 round. And HR round was also done package was decided and recruiter sent some links for bgv and said offer gonna be released in next week. Is this a clean process or should I suspect?

I’m a data engineer/engineering manager by trade and massively screwed up by going into MBB consulting, I absolutely despise it and am looking to leave about 8 months in. I’m new to this startup and was leading a cross functional project involving several other product teams with dependencies. When we got near the end with E2E testing, I realized that none of the product teams really do QA: no test scripts, not logs of dev unit testing, no documentation of testing cycles – there devs asked “what do we do about edge cases?” I raised this to my boss (since I don’t manage those other teams) and he said I’m creating unnecessary stress for the teams. Is he right?
