JPMorgan Chase Did a first round interview for a senior level position at JP Morgan.. hiring manager said I should receive a call back within a couple of weeks.. been over a month.. no intimation post that.. the HR in charge of hiring or scheduling haven’t replied to my emails on what comes next and haven’t scheduled anything. So should I consider this as a dead end ? Does this generally happen at JP? Feels weird that I have been ghosted after what I felt was a very good interview.. Was a good fit too.JPMorgan Chase

Hi All, My sister has done Computer Science engineering Bachelor degree and has 5 years of work experience in India. She is applying for MBA at https://www.kenan-flagler.unc.edu/programs/mba/full-time-mba/ and https://kelley.iu.edu/programs/full-time-mba/academics/majors-minors/marketing.html. Her overall goal is to get into Software Product management. Any suggestions if any of these MBA’s can open path in the desired space or if she is better of doing an MS in Comp engg. to further develop deeper Technology skills. Thanks

Get into google, excel for a year, apply internally as PM
Its hard and u have to prep for 6 months but not impossible
Bro - the days of consultants landing top tier PM jobs went away in 2016. Go for PgM - move internally
But you're right maybe try to take it and move internally
As loads of people are saying I raise you this as well, go to Google aaaaaaannnndddd now you can go wherever you want, transfer internal of course but go work big tech somewhere else too, good luck!
It’s as feasible as you make it. At my current role, I have wanted to get more exposure to architecture decisions, so I reached out to architecture and they have let me start working on smaller issues in their backlog.
Do good work, ask to be included, jump on small opportunities, and network.
It is incredibly difficult to move internally to Product Management at Google and FB. You’ll likely have better luck landing external PM roles at smaller tech companies after a year as a PgM at Google.
Thanks A1. I kinda feared this was the case. However, I still have doubts I'd be able to go into PM somewhere else after being PgM at google. Bc nobody likes to hire ppl into PM roles that weren't PMs at their previous company lol
You might like program role better who knows
