Recently passed interviews and got an offer, but I'm not too excited about the role and the overall package. Will recruiters in the future be able to see that I already had an offer? Would that impact my chances to get an interview if I applied for other roles? I would love to work for Google at some point, but might want to wait for a role that's a better fit. Or should I just accept it to have a foot in the door and try to transfer after I joined? Many thanks for your advice

Had my virtual on-site for an S&O L3 role 3.5 weeks ago (NYC, 5 YOE). I haven’t heard back on a decision yet, and was wondering how long it typically takes? I have a in person(online, 4 hours - 4 people) technical interview coming up and I have been practicing my coding for the past 3 weeks. The only thought I've been having is "what if I can't solve the coding question?" I am still fairly new to the software engineer scene and the position is for a level 1 software engineer.
Does it essentially end my chances if at any point I can't solve the question? I mean I will definitely attempt to talk it through, ask question, but no progress in code. 🤷

Wrapping my head around the equity piece of an offer. Is the equity you are granted in dollars converted to shares right away? So if the stock goes up or down, the totally dollar amount in equity granted when you sign might not be what you actually get over the first four years?
