It's separation anxiety. She'll get over it quickly. Best thing to do is drop and run. The longer you stick around the worse it will be. The teachers know how to handle it.
Yep rip the band-aid off when you drop her off. Also get her excited about all the fun things she'll do and learn and keep reinforcing it
Very common, don’t worry you are doing great
Breathe; it’s one of their first times out in the world. Most natural thing in the world to be upset about it
Read lots of books about it

Was she in daycare/play school prior to this or is this the first time she has will be going to someplace other than home for major part of the day ?
My brother used to spend the first couple mins with her playing at daycare to show her that it was a safe place to be at, and tried to interact with the other kids so that my niece would interact as well. He would then sneak away while she was distracted. She soon got used to it and has no problem now.

My daughter has always had this everywhere we’ve taken her and had to leave her (daycare, friends, camps, classes). It’s only ever with me and not my wife. With her, it was more about the other adults she didn’t know yet, so I realized I had to interact with them first in front of her; get their names and have them introduce themselves. It’s especially bad with other men. She apparently needs either rapport or to see that I trusted them first. It’s helped.
You do have to get out as fast as you can though. I know it’s tough seeing them melt, but it’s what’s needed. And you’re doing great, btw.
Awww. Yeah agree with these posts you are doing great! Hang in there and it’ll work out eventually.
