The food that is accepted by the vast majority of guests.
Then you order ONE SPECIAL MEAL for yourself.
What you want to eat. It’s your wedding! No one is expecting much from wedding food anyway.

Food that you enjoy while being accommodating. So have a vegan, vegetarian, gluten free option for folks. That being said, we picked food that we liked. We wanted to have elements of our culture at our reception so we included that as an option.
Yes I agree with this (despite my first answer). Make sure you have something for everyone to eat, especially those with dietary restrictions. My husband has many allergies, so that meant the food would of course be allergy free, but we also made it vegan.

i guess it depends on what you want to eat? is it something that your guests realllly won’t eat? because if you’re serving alcohol you need to make sure there is food people will actually eat. but it really comes down to how unconventional the meal is
