Improv classes help a lot. What is your biggest pain point with presenting and networking?
For networking, open ended questions are always good openers i.e:"What brought you to this event today?" Show genuine curiosity and make it about the other person and not you. Pull at thread..."Tell me more about..."etc., for presentations, nerves are good it is really more about how you mange them. Messaging might be in how you are preparing and structuring your presentation as well as how much time you are practicing and how you are practicing. Happy to discuss more.
Create your "Elevator Pitch" - a brief 30-45 second intro to yourself. Then get really good at delivering it confidently, practice being comfortable talking about your proud moments and journey that has gotten you to where you are. Here is an article I had my team read before they created their pitches (they're mostly women who are in-person client facing, working with medical professionals in a new office every week) https://www.inhersight.com/blog/how-to/master-the-elevator-pitch
I also love the tips in Vinh Giang's YouTube videos :) Happy networking!

Ask more questions - of your clients and when you’re meeting new people - what keeps them up at night. People love talking about their passions and it helps you connect with them quickly if you have a passion in common
