I want to understand why was Arthur Anderson kicked out of the audit business. I know they played a major part in the Enron scandal. But still these days we are seeing scandals happening. Someday we see EY name popping (Wirecard) KPMG or some other Big 4 but we still hold a strong position in the market. Then why didn't Arthur Anderson in accounting and audit business especially what I have learnt that it was largest among the big 5 at that time?
I have an upcoming interview with Apple Supply Demand Planner role. Any tips or insights (wlb, expectation etc) on this position/interview?
Anyone from google can shed light on comp range for the manager position in their S&O team? Would be even more helpful if I can get an understanding of the base+variable split. Thanks!
Anyone knows how the coding interviews levels are compared to each other across Adobe, Amazon, Facebook, LinkedIn, Microsoft and Google for a data scientist role? Any insights?

Them: "WE ARE HIRING LIKE CRAZY!!! UwU :) ❤💕" Also them: "Followup on your recent application. I hope this message finds you well. We appreciate the time you put into your application. Unfortunately, we are unable to move forward with your candidacy."
Here is my idea for a startup! I collect all the data from career transitions and use Data Analytics to predict the most likely career transitions. I could start with consulting. What do you guys think about this? I would be able to predict based on your firm(mbb, big4), your experience, which role you are likely to move (Faang pm, strategy manager, move to mbb). I have all the data to do this, but wanted your thoughts. Would the output of this be relevant to you?
What are some good questions to ask in an informational interview with a) competitor consulting firm, b) industry role? Haven't done recruiting in years..
I’m about to start a new Senior Associate role at PwC. I’m looking for advice/tips! I’m a young professional and I primarily come from a marketing agency background, which has a very different vibe/work pace. I’m not very concerned about this; I’m mainly looking for PwC-specific tips! ☺️
Any thoughts on Bain and what their capabilities are in the RPA space? Looking around at jobs and I see they are hiring, but didn't know they did work in rpa or intelligent automation.
Is it worth pursuing the Specialist consultant track at McKinsey? A recruiter reached out to me regarding a role in healthcare. Currently have 5 YOE, no MBA, am a SC at D.
I have a potential opportunity as a Pre-Sales Engineer ... would be heavy SQL (I’m proficient but have a lot of learning to do) and the pay is solid. Would having deep expertise in SQL/Data Analytics be a good long term decision? I’m just thinking about career growth and exit opportunities.
Hi fishies 🐠 I’m an Art Director that’s trying to transition over to UX Design. I have experience building websites and some previous freelance work doing some UI/UX. What’s the best route to transition over and would I need to apply for entry level roles? Does an AD role with a UI/UX focus even exist? I enjoy the thinking of UX design and am comfortable designing interfaces but I’m mostly unsure of the process of working with an UX team. Would love to hear your thoughts!
What is it like in industry if your role is SEC and SOX? Is that a good path or is it a dead end with Big 4 like hours?
Is consulting actually that lucrative? I feel like my friends around me in fields like sales and commercial real estate make a killing. I’m currently 24 - is this something that catches up in the long run / exit ops?

Made the SPG Platinum Challenge last week. I'm so happy with it that I am a bit ashamed of the person I have become.
How can you tell if working there would be a total nightmare when interviewing? Like if the hours are insane and the management sucks? Best questions to ask during an interview to get a real gauge on the work life balance there?
What role would be better to align with, technical or a project management role? In terms of having better opportunities and overall versatility
Thinking of transferring. Thoughts on FDD b4 transaction services vs. Management Consulting?
Thoughts on Grey Group NYC?
What's the range for M3s? Trying to see if I will get anything. Currently at less than 200k. Not a homegrown and have tier2/3 MBA
Moving to NYC for work and looking for places. Deciding whether I should live with random roommates or shell out an extra couple hundred a month on a studio/1BR. With COVID getting worse and winter coming, I see it both ways: I may appreciate having other people to live/interact with but I also appreciate a space completely to myself where I'm completely comfortable considering I may have to spend a lot of time at home (I will be WFH most days). Anyone have a perspective? Has covid changed it?
Since Covid happened, I keep seeing posts about people working longer hours from home than at office. Well has anyone actually achieved the opposite, which is working less hours? You save time on commuting, meaningless meetings, coffee breaks, random questions from coworkers, etc. This question doesn’t apply to parents with young kids.
Currently in IT Audit. Are there any other types of jobs at big 4 I could apply to that are more interesting but don’t require travel.
Average salary for sup in ATL? Digital
What is with people at EVP level who use efficiency as an excuse to be curt and unkind? Bonus points if you can explain why they’d humiliate coworkers in front of the client.
My Truth: I recently left a large firm with great pay, terrible culture, & subtle racism for a small firm, bad pay, & great/open culture. Already looking like one of my better career decisions. (cont)
What’s the best way to showcase a web design project in your portfolio? The desktop/mobile mockup seems pretty outdated to me and doesn’t really show the breadth of the project
