Currently have had experience working with SQL developer, OBIEE/OBIA, Teradata in ERP and Healthcare projects. I accepted an offer mid Oct and just found out my new company opened a new role above me at the title I was asking for originally but was told I would move up when they were ready to build out the team. I am over qualified for my role now and already meet the exp of the new role above me. Very salty and feel like they are setting me up to feel stuck before I even start. What do I did?

FDD 🐠 I will be promoted to audit SM in October, however looking to transfer to the FDD practice. Based on discussions with partners in the practice, I would be brought in as an experienced manager with opportunity to promote to senior manager in FDD next year. I’m in FDD… I know I signed up for this but there’s something about the anxiety that comes on a Friday knowing that we still didn’t get access to VDR .. and how that anxiety grows as you enter the long weekend knowing that access can happen at any minute (or not) and you have to tippy-toe on the idea of potentially cancelling on your memorial weekend plans. I know the unpredictability of our job but phew 😮‍💨
