it’s just a staffing firm from my experience

like

Yes, staffing firm. They probably offered you an hourly rate and are going to charge some overhead on top.

Just depends if you want to go hourly and like the client hiring manager.

I thought the same, but they are saying its full time role and they are hiring full folks for last 6+ years and are same as other consulting firms like deloitte

They won’t have the same talent experience or office politics as Deloitte.

But plenty of people just want to do the work, make money, have great WLB, and not worry about firm politics.

Hi All,
I'm joining EY India Technology Consulting in a week. However, EY is also my client, primarily we're involved in the maintenance of their internal user interface.

I can see a non solicitation clause in my current employer's offer letter than I can't join client within 12 months of my termination.

Are this non solicitation clauses followed in reality? Everyone's has been asking me to chill, since I'm joining as scon, not a manager or with any trade secrets. Opinions pls.

Switching from commission to salary!

I’m considering a less sales-oriented role that doesn’t pay commission. The new role will have a higher base but lower overall earning potential.

What % haircut should be expected? As an example, if I make 100k (base + commission) today, would it be realistic to ask for 90k (10% cut) + equity to make up the difference?
