3k is pretax mind you, so grand total of $1500.

Well, mine is $1600 pre tax so count yourself lucky.
Firm didn't hit targets this year, so should feel lucky that you actually got a bonus with that 3, buddy. I think that most 4s and 5s for fired, so you barely even made the cut to stick around. Stop complaining.

121 base no raise b/c top of cohort. Base was low vs rest of industry to begin with.

Normally the dip to tier 3 is pretty sharp. Got a 3 one year and was really surprised. 1 & 2 bonus is better, but not near what they were like last year.
Got a 2 and got promoted to SA and also got 3K. Bonuses sucked this year.
