My sister is in an abusive relationship and AH while she is currently safe living with my parents, she can’t seem to fully detach from the person she married. I’m seeing emotional abuse and manipulation and it breaks my heart to see my sister question her worth and everything she stands for. We are trying our best to support her, but this is a long and painful journey. Does anyone have experience on navigating?

Do large law firms really recieve enough applications for a position that they cannot follow up when someone reaches out to check on thier application? I get that if you have to reach out, they probably weren't interested anyways, I'm just curious why there is a practice of just leaving applicants in the wind. And also, how does one go about finding out why they were rejected, if thier qualifications are "impressive"?
