The pay isnt amazing from what I hear but I know BNY is always higher if in the office in JC in the financial district

Also try PGIM/PRU. Newark isn’t ideal but I know they are always bringing a bunch of people on. Worth applying a million times , a friend applied 7x and got it on the 7th lol

What are you doing in Ops currently? And why NY or JC? Dallas is booming right now and is worth a look.

I told somebody else 2 days ago the keys to switching are the following:

-Networking
-Strong Accounting background
-Strong Finance background
-Strong Excel Skills

You could also get your MBA or start working towards your CFA. Both of these will help get you a look.

3 attorney firm. I’ve been here for 6 years and have used Westlaw exclusively. Now we are switching to Lexis because apparently Westlaw is too expensive. I hate change. I know where everything is on Westlaw and now I need to relearn. Apparently Westlaw will not budge on price and would rather just see a client leave than work with them. Super annoying. Any insight on negotiating Westlaw or transitioning to lexis?

Any working mothers in here who loves the company they’re working for? I am thinking about switching firms and need some honest thoughts on companies that doesn’t only say, but actually practice flexibility for work life balance and offers good $$$.

I am a high performer at my current firm but they started questioning working arrangements of folks based on the new members who are huge in-office folks, fast turnover within the team, etc. This wasn’t an issue when I first joined.
