No. Get a referral. It might actually hurt you if you have a foreign sounding name.

No there is still minority bias in the application process. You have a better chance of getting an interview of you are a white male.
Unless your name is Lukang and the interviewer happens to be a Mortal Combat fan, it's definitely not beneficial to you.

PwC4- you would think! I worked on a long term project and you would be surprised what happens. This company was trying to meet some regulation about interviewing minority (not my space) and they brought in folks for that purpose. May be EEO?
Problem is that tech consulting brings in all the minorities. So the numbers average out as a whole company.
The company I was at did was not in the space. They needed more minorities. Anyhow. Thanks all
