Hi
Anyone facing this issue?

Any topical cream for saggy jowls?
The new company I’m at now sent me an email from an email address that was HR@companyName.careers saying I was accepted for the position. They gave me paperwork to fill out and sign to accept the position
I fill out the paperwork and send it back to them and it goes through… then a few days later I go back to the email to say something else and I get this…?
Then today I got a check from the company In the mail to setup my home office, and it’s signed by someone I’ve never met before or heard of…?
What…..

Stealth layoffs at CWT confirmed.

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

If you can get the same salary and do not want to relocate go for it beats the dreaded letter.......
Don't do it unless you get a 50% bump
I would not leave BAH for a no name. If you do, they better give you both a title and 50% salary bump
Money talks, wait and listen
2yrs on client site? Probably time you become a fed
I mean full time federal employee
Bend em over
Depends on your level and practice OP - average for a C or SC is 45 business days before you'll receive a LOW, you can also check your metrics in TOL (as long as you are near your billable goal then you'll be fine), for Assoc. and above... you'll have less time (30 days) - with that being said, if you have any sort of network at the firm then you should not be on the bench longer than you want to be (nothing wrong with taking a week or two between projects)... people unfortunately don't put enough time into developing their internal networks which is the real cause of concern... it's hard to get fired
Ewwww federal. What a rube. Why waste your career in that joke of an industry
How do I find that other fish bowl?
Prob is fed
What is fed?
How long before a LOW usually? Basically do I have to quit BAH or will they let me go first?
Attrition is so bad, I doubt they are even using LOWs right now
LOW?
Lack of Work Letter... AKA pink slip, you will be fired in X days without billable work. People get LOWs more often thsn you'd think. Part of the reason morale has a bit to be desired...
Saw an low recently--130 days without a B #
There's a BAH Fishbowl for this. Also, if your Senior Associate, etc. of this contract is awesome with negotiating with other companies, they would have encouraged you to resist and be patient to the point where the small business firm will become desperate and ultimately subcontract to BAH. That's what happened with a previous contract of my project.
The person from my team who didn't resist freaked out, and hopped over. She eventually regretted it. Her company/Our primary contractor at the time had no name, and made it hard for her in her job search when she wanted out. She also didn't get the opportunities or the culture that other Booz folks had.
