Update - my friend accepted the offer! Now that he has, I can post more (was worried about doxxing) - has pushed my friend’s CV in front of leadership, vouched, then also unofficially “buddied” through the process. Of course it’s my friend’s success 200% but I love seeing that I was part of something a little positive for someone

I work for a F50 but I’d pretty much recruited alone and I was the first McK person here. I can’t tell you guys how alone I’d been trying to find a job, how hopeless and feeling vulnerable all the time. Now there’ll be 3 of us at least in the same office (also helped another guy a tiny bit in his interviews), all from the same role -at McK (if not tenure). I’m so happy.

Once again guys - please do your bit in going above and beyond and help people who are looking out for jobs by making introductions, recommending within your networks, and if you’re an alum, submitting a referral in your new company. It’ll make a real difference, if not in something concrete, then in supporting someone. If nothing else, you can spend a coffee break checking in or meet them.

I recently was let go (in lieu of accepting my two weeks) and I should have received my March expense check by the end of April per the employment agreement (submitted the report April 1, let go before mid April). I have emailed HR but haven't heard anything. I've got a feeling someone at the top is putting a hold on it.

How do I get my money from them? It's a few hundred dollars
