Hi all, I just got a job offer at PwC for a senior consultant position. The salary is 30% above my total comp right now, but I’m just worried about the amount of work I will have to put in compared to my amazing work life balance now. Does anyone have any experience moving from industry to consulting? I need some advice on what to do. I’m still early in my career (1.4yoe) so I feel like I shouldn’t care too much about wlb, but at the same time, I don’t want my mental health to suffer either.
Any book recommendations on change management?

Anyone able to give me a referral for Facebook (Meta) or Google?
I am a paralegal with 8 years of experience in the legal industry (+ Fortune 500). I was just diagnosed with a serious health condition and I’m looking for new remote position, that is challenging and offering high pay and benefits. Facebook (Meta) & Google currently have openings for positions that align with my skills. I kind ask that you simply share some tips, if you are unable to offer a referral. THANKS!

When will the Hike letters be out ?
Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

It’s not a straight yes or no. US CPA and ACCA have about 50% in common. FAR and Audit are similar but different. BEC also to an extent. REG is completely different. Passing hurdle rate is 75%. If you give one subject at a time, don’t think too difficult but would take you around 2 years. If you give two subjects at a time then less than 2 and if you’re a genius and write all subjects together then just around a year.
The pass rate for ACCA is quite a bit higher, but it's not exactly apples to oranges in any case. The ACCA is more like a program than a one-time exam.
Are you doing the CPA through the company or by yourself? If you’re doing it through your firm, how do you go about starting? I contacted HR previously but they weren’t helpful.

I heard the CPA exam is much harder, it took a lot more prep from what colleagues have told me
