Should I be looking into consulting with an employment attorney?
I gave my notice at current job because my boss/managing attorney refused to give me pay stubs. I knew something was off when she lost my w4 and direct deposit forms so i had to complete them twice. Since September I have yet to receive a paystub and have to beg for a paycheck. I need to send texts saying i have bills to pay and that i need to be paid for my time to get a check. Theres more but this one concerns me and not clients.

Contact your state dept of labor.

You may not need an atty.

I have seen this before. He/she is probably not paying taxes on your earnings. They can be in big trouble for that.

I also have no proof that i was actually on the books and having my taxes taken out as i had to fill out a w4 and direct deposit form multiple times.

Yes

Unless you want said attorney to keep playing with your livelihood, YES.

I wonder if this is the same atty. Said atty kept forgetting to submit the payroll. At one point said atty sent the paycheck via Zelle.

There’s a couple of labor code violations there. Contact your Labor and Employment Department and report your employer. You’re going to need to report this anyway before a lawyer can file a lawsuit.

Hey fishes, completed 3 tech rounds at Bosch.
Last tech + managerial round was on 10th Nov. Got HR call on 17th Nov. Told my expected package and she didn't seem to have any issue. On 22nd Nov, got a call from the consultant at taggd who has been arranging all my interviews. Told my expected CTC and she seemed a bit surprised but didn't negotiate and asked if I have any other offers? I asked when can I expected the OL, she said within a week but didn't take any documents. Can I expect the OL?
