Is human touch a new software?
AI-made resumes get trashed. Make your own and put it into gpt for recommendations, nothing more.
Have AI do the first draft and then do edits/tailoring to the resume. Never submit just an AI resume as it uselly will be too generic.
Pro
What V1 said, create the resume, run it through for suggestions, make your updates
Write up your education and job history with all the tasks you did and accomplishments. Then have AI use that as a basis to work from. “using my education and job history draft up a résumé for a role of …. “. You can also copy in the job description as another source, so AI can tailor it for that position. (And have it draft a cover letter).
Then read the results and edit to make is sound more like you.
AI resumes are terrible. I added my resume to one to test it. Trash. Kept my resume as is
Use AI for inspiration 100%!
AI has great verbiage you can use and it can remind you of skills and job duties you have but would have otherwise forgotten to include.
Should we send your check to the AI bot?
There are also professional resume services, so your analogy would be the same for those who use a professional resume writer. Obviously an AI tool still needs input like where you worked, what titles you had, what tasks you performed, ways you learned and expanded your role, etc.
AI is human.
Just my opinion draft your own resume then put it through AI
And or draft your own then add screenshot of the job description
Just make your own. Use a good template. AI doesn’t know what you did at your job or your metrics for performance
Yes
I would ask AI for a "template" then fill your information in. Reach out to college friends or old colleagues to review the resume before sending out (even if they're not in the same line of work, they may ask you questions on your roles/responsibilities you don't think of or may get you to realize points are overbroad, not needed, etc). You should probably have 1 document that's your "master" resume and then tailor it for any jobs (think top of your list jobs) you really want.
