Should I go Booth (no scholarship) this year or reapply to my Targets (Wharton, HBS, MIT) next year. Got dinged from all the second time. Are these even achievable with the stats below:

29M, GRE 325 (can try improving to 330), 8 YoE in Big4 Transaction Advisory (currently AD/SM), two quick promotions (SC->M and M->AD), 3.7 GPA from a 200-ranked school, CPA, international experience in 2 countries.

I can kind of see why HBS or Wharton if you’re interested in PE or VC, but other than that, what’s the big difference between Booth and the others that you are concerned with?

As someone without a scholarship to one of these schools, really really urge you to find a school that offers you a full ride or majority scholarship. The loans are real. If I would do it again I would go to any school in the t15 that offered the hefty scholarship

Booth 100%, opportunity cost of waiting more without certainty of getting is is a waste

What are you looking to do post-MBA?
Is there a reason that Wharton, HBS and MIT are better positioned to help you achieve your goals?

If you've already been dinged from Wharton, HBS and MIT twice, I would think that there is something about your profile that just isn't working for them.

Improving your GRE by 5 points is unlikely to move the needle.

Did you get interviews from those programs?

I would lean to go to Booth and move on. At 8 years of experience, a 9th isn't making you a better candidate.

I’m (early30s) about 8 months into a relationship with a 40m. Things are wonderful in every aspect, but he is absolutely atrocious with his finances. I felt it becoming an issue about two months ago. He forgets about auto payments and just generally doesn’t care. I sat down with him and looked at everything and even after talking it out he still continues to stress and it’s now causing me stress. I had a final discussion with him today about it and he went on abt how love isn’t enough for me…

This is super weird but I feel like I can’t relate easily to people. Hear me out - I moved and lived in different continents, countries every 5 years or so until now… I feel like I’m an outlier and my life is super different from anyone else’s. I have some friends I’ve met at each stage of my life, but it’s been temporary. I feel like I’m always going in a different direction than others. It makes it difficult to have a stable life and close friends..

My colleagues
Just to put some intro
I am 22 years after college experience and worked in consulting for 15 years and currently in industry for 7 years.
My long term goal is to go back to consulting more of a business advisor from a strategy perspective
Here is my question
Would MBA be any good for me especially looking at strategy side?
I don’t want to spend $200K and would probably go online MBA in a mid tier school. Are those any good?
Looking forward to your great input on this topic
