Debating getting liability insurance…
I’m waiting for my background check as I accepted an offer for Remote Licensed Insurance Customer Service Rep. While I’m a 1099 for my current role, I still haven’t told them I am leaving for a full time role that can change my life. It’s a small agency, and I’ve gotten close with the director. She’s the employment reference I gave; I’m a nervous that when they receive the call to verify employment, my days will be difficult. I’d hate to be let go before I start with LM. Thoughts? Hello,
I have an accepted offer from Amazon with start date early next month. With the hiring freeze in place I am worried that layoffs will be next and new hires are more at risk when it comes to layoffs. This is making me wonder if it is good time to switch. Would really appreciate some input in this matter.
Where does everyone look for jobs
You should double check this in your fine print, BUT you should be able to be just fine and enroll in COBRA if you needed it and it would be retroactive to when you first left your old job. COBRA often has a 60 day enrollment window. Drive carefully and you could save a few thousand.
Cobra is just basically a continuation of your previous employers coverage, but you pay the full premium rather than the employer subsidizing some of it.
Yea, I’d keep it and not have a gap if you’re expecting.
Yikes... Well, maybe I can counter their counteroffer with a reduction in insurance terms... nothing to lose, I guess
