Since we’ve been talking AI, what are some ways that you are using it? We’ve started talking about it for content writing support which would be big on a team strapped for resources like mine. Here’s a piece from Adweek talking about how AI will be used next. Thoughts?

I don't find that sponsored content a very persuasive pitch, despite the professional polish of it. I'm generally skeptical of AI, and I think the production of AI slop is accelerating to the point where we will be drowning in it (researchers on the web are already being disadvantaged by it). I suppose I'm just too old school, but I think hand crafted content should be prized and AI stuff should be viewed with extreme skepticism.

I’m right there with you. Researching online is a SLOG and so difficult. I almost feel sorry for students trying to do research papers, but that’s a whole convo for another day. AI generated content is already popping up too frequently and pollute the pool.
I’m finding it very useful for beginning any research process. I have to verify off other sources, especially since AI answers are sometimes wrong. It gives me a good starting point for many topics and some data though, and speeds up the overall process.

This is the first time I’ve ever heard someone say it has been useful for research purposes. Maybe speeding things up as you pointed out, but the quality control is too big an issue for me.
OP I have not really started using AI at all but I would love to know ways that others are using it because I am sure there are ways I could incorporate it into my work to make things easier for me. I just don't know that I really trust AI yet so I haven't used it.
