Any facial recommendations in the city?
Hi guys ,
I am in a US project in Accenture. We have long calls in the night timings. My other teammate has backed out saying she won't attend any calls as she got some medical condition so she won't attend long calls which extend till 9:30.Other teammate is a junior. The managers are expecting me to join all the calls. No help I am getting. And they all being Tamil, I think some partiality is going on between them.Even our onsite lead is of no use.She expects me to attend long calls.
What should I do .pls suggest?

Once I introduced fun Friday floor puzzles my first grade only wanted to do that and the large checkers game. I had them teach each other and they only came to me when they were confused about a rule.
Have your students write ‘Thank You’ notes to their parents, teachers, bus drivers… 😇 They play enough games. Practicing Gratitude might be a more challenging pursuit. 😉
I teach high school. We have 1/2 days… final exams. 🌸🌸
Teach them to play chess
I’m having the same problem. The have some things planned, but they know the grades are closed since I can no longer accept work to grade. I have them on digital escape rooms for right now.
See the big kids clue into the whole grade situation. Our district take assessments the last day of school and they count.
Scavenger hunts (takes time to organize) can keep kids occupied for hours. Making different routes and different puzzles to solve makes it new for everyone. I like visual ones.
End of the year candy exchange. Students write a riddle about themselves…things other don’t know about them. According to pre chosen numbers the kids come up, read the riddle and guess the student. If they guess correctly, they get the candy, if not they sit back down and will get to guess again about who it might be. We usually put a $5 cap on candy.
Advice board-I had kids write one of two pieces of advice for incoming students. I used it as one of my bulletin boards the following year. I usually gave students a leaf pattern. I built the trunk and added their advice as the leaves. It killed two birds with one stone.
Words of kindness and appreciation. I had squares of paper that the kids could write a note of thanks, appreciation, or simply how someone made their day better throughout the year. Then delivered them.
Time capsule letter. This required more than one day, a stamp, and envelope. Students wrote a letter to themselves. They wrote what the wore most of the time, favorite classes, best friends and thoughts about current events. How they would like to change and goals for the future. They would put them in an envelope, and I would mail them out 6years later at the end of May. The kids loved them! I retired 2 years ago. I still have many more years to mail the ones I left with!
Just some ideas. The last days can drag.
Pro
Love the leaves of advice!
Team building activities
Games are a great idea. You could incorporate review, or just make it fun!
I love timeline lessons at the end of the year to review everything they covered in the year.
I do 20% Time for my classes. Many of my students spent the last days finishing up their projects. Some of them worked on designing on Canva. On the final day, each class period got to go outside. Is say take the downtime abs enjoy spending it with your kids
It is honestly killing me lol, we are usually done by Memorial Day but for some reason our district decided to go through the 31st :( this was decided last summer so the snow days are not the reason since with remote learning we don't really count snow days against us. And I don't know why these extra four days makes the year seem twice as long as normal but it sure does!
We start early August 12-15 usually because we have a fall break and early release Fridays every week.
I continued social games
Wow!
Board games. Monopoly uses math Trivia pursuit is knowledge. Lots of games can be educational. Make your own jeopardy game using your class material
Just have fun! Games, team building activities, silly things like bring in a baby picture and guess who the baby is etc. Also, have them help clean up your room and put things away!
The room clean out is no joke! So many sticky surfaces!
