Anyone from EYP…I’m applying to “Strategy & Transactions Working Capital Consultant/Senior”. I have the experience, six sigma, PMP etc stated in the description. How can I proactively position myself to earn the interview? I’m afraid I might get auto rejected because I have way more than 2 years experience, but I know industry experience is weighted different. Appreciate any help, insight, or anyone willing to chat. If you use one, just do it hourly because those schools are in line with your stats, especially in a normal year. 3.2/760 white guy who got dinged at SOM and waitlisted at tuck this year and used a consultant. Honestly, you can get the same feedback from good friends, coworkers, etc. They just prey on you being nervous, none of the feedback was game changer stuff that only a consultant would be privy to. Although it did make my essays slightly better, Just not worth $6K+ better
Thanks for this feedback and congrats on the amazing score! I’m sure you would’ve been in at those and several other schools had COVID not happened. Best of luck with Tuck! That’s my #1 school.

Same stats as you. Used a consultant for 6 hours. Interviewed but dinged at 3 M7s. Accepted to a T10.

Same stats and got rejected from tuck and Yale round 1 this year
Don’t think so given your targets. Those are locks for you in a non-covid year. If you were shooting higher I would consider a consultant.
Highly recommend Sam Weeks. A lot of consultants I talked to frame their value prop of having insider knowledge about “what the adcom wants” but all the evidence I’ve seen points to telling your authentic story in a clear way gets you admits. Sam is an awesome storyteller and really pushes you to help go deeper on your story and tell that in a clear way
And he offers hourly
Went to a T20 undergrad and studied economics

Probably won't hurt, but probably not worth it. You're already likely competitive at those schools; if your recs are good and you trust yourself to craft a narrative, don't know how much more there is for the consultant to add.
