I’m in big law and on the cusp of making the jump to in-house. It sounds like the company I just interviewed with is getting ready to make me an offer. It’s definitely going to be a pay cut coming from big law but I do get some nice equity in the company. Is the jump worth it? Recently started my own firm and interested in others thoughts. Are there resources out there for practical advice or is it only something that comes with experience? For example, I can take let's say a 601A client and use the resources available to me to learn how to do it. But if a client asks me is it better to marry my fiance in her home country, bring her here on a K-1 or have her visit on a B-2, that's not learned from a book or webinar. How does one learn how to evaluate new cases?

I’m a new grad hire (7 months) in the OCM consulting space. I’m passionate about change management and communication strategy. I've been reading, googling, and perusing anything I can get my hands on about OCM, including old OCM deliverables and our current methodology. My People Manager told me that OCM is a journey when it comes to understanding it and that a lot of that knowledge is gained through just experience. Does anyone have any tips they’ve gained in their OCM journey to share?

I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's Master's in Management. They both have the same requirements, generally speaking, including a field immersion course that serves as a capstone in the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?
