So I’ve been on a contract since July of last year. The company seems great and I like my coworkers for the most part. My supervisor recently announced she is pregnant and will be going on maternity leave in June. My contract is up in July. I’ve noticed she’s been a little difficult lately, e.g. will tell me she wants one thing then chance her mind to something else, or the opposite of what she wanted originally. Not sure if she’s doing this intentionally or it’s just the hormones.

Just became an ACD. Im in a limbo. Half of the time im being treated as a Super Senior AD and the other half im being treated as a Almost CD. Then when im scoped over work that my CD and I oversee, some people are asking me how does my role differ from the CD’s, as they tend to look at me as an unnecessary layer for approvals. In a way, i do the job so well that i get asked to do more AD projs and guide more projs — but then: wtf does my CD do? They mostly just 👍🏻what i direct n approve

I've been at my company since 2016, and am now a design consultant - speaking to customers directly and creating custom artwork and designs for them.
