I have interview scheduled and completed from Commonwealth Bank Bangalore location. All technical rounds cleared.
When I called HR i got a surprise answer..
They mentioned the position which I have intervied is different than the salary rem ranges. And my current salary is higher than position what they have got and asked for approval for rem ranges changes..
Is any one faced this? Ideally HR should know expectation and allocation before scheduling intervjew..

The fact is that there aren’t as many clients who need huge network agencies. There are too many now because the business has changed. Consolidation is inevitable.
The good news is there’s a lot more room for smart small agencies.
I always take it as cutting functions by consolidating. That way the network can have it both ways- smaller staff, keep all the names.
It’s the worst holding company in advertising.

It’s not the real story. It’s almost like a collective taking care of specific investments in special capabilities over every agency. No more isolated movements.

None of this is good for the creative or the people actually doing the work. This is about one word- efficiency. The other 360 or so words are just spin.
This is about keeping the people at the top rich and protected. Everyone else is just a number waiting to get let go. That's life, so make the best of it while you can!

Layoffs?
This isn't about merging agencies. This is about dedicated leadership for Omnicom's creative agencies. Omnicom already has dedicated divisions for performance marketing and for media. And Troy Ruhanen is a practitioner, not a bean counter. He ran BBDO New York in its heyday. At a time when most holding companies are treating creative agencies like toxic assets, this might be a good move.

It’s yet to be seen if course. And I realize this is PR spin. But this is essentially a mini holding company, under “big “ Omnicom that potentially will drive shared initiatives and services. Which is a good thing for those agencies and their clients.

One thing is for certain, Zimmerman Advertising will remain the shittiest most toxic dumpster fire of a place to call work in the entire industry.
