Hi, did anybody ever experience wrong tax calculations by JPMC Payroll/tax team ? Or is there any specific month where they deduct more tax. Huge amount of tax deduction is done for Oct payout. From my CA’s calculation the amount deducted by JPMC team looks wrong. Anybody experienced this?

Unless the NY law is better written than CO's, employers are going to lump together in the same range anyone from any service line with any level of experience as long as they have the same generic title. I've seen a spread of 80k for a manager position in CO.
Audit manager, 85k - 140k. Does that help?

Colorado already does this and they give such a broad range that’s it not even useful. They just put some arbitrary range to check the box
Interesting. Well at least you know how much you can push to negotiate even with the broad range. Earlier it was like what is even the pay!

Haha I’m sure they always do. Point is we need some level of transparency with the salary platform. I understand these are confidential #s but there has to be some kind of information
They'll always avoid being truly transparent. They'll post a truly broad range to make people think they belong right around the middle of the range when the middle of the range is actually below the value the work actually generates.
I predict it will not be helpful, The range will be wide and meaningless because it depends on so many factors
