So when it comes to salaries for CDs in NYC, the general opinion seems to be « under $200k is too low ».
From my experience (current job and interviews) and current job listings, most CD positions are 150k-220k, the majority of them caping at 200k. The common range seems to be 170k-200k. I’ve even read a study stating157k is the median salary.
However, there are often comments and shared experiences with higher numbers. Should I feel guilty about interviewing for 200k?
