I did not become a father because I knew I’d be terrible at it. I’m certain my nonexistent kids are grateful.
Ah, non-binary. I respect that. I too have been to Le Bain at the Standard High Line at 4am. (Client meeting.)
Maybe the real friends were the shareholder values we grew along the way.
Satire! 🤪
Great. Now do people who think it’s cool and edgy to not care about their jobs.
Good job, buddy. I am sure all your work contacts will be grateful and keep in touch regularly after you retire. Make sure there is enough Cannes rose at your funeral for the hundreds of former colleagues who will show up.

I don’t have kids. Wait. Run that back. My employees are my kids. And it’s my duty to be their guide through this volatile industry we call ____
One of our interns may be one of my kids. This isn’t nepotism on my part. Just a poor decision in the office copy room 20 odd years back.

My father was like that. I never seen him. He awoke before the sunrise and didn't come in till sunset. Then he warmed up his leftover meal at night, we always made sure to save and then he went straight to bed.
Never argued for the TV, he just simply went quietly to bed.
Sunday's he had a shower and went to church.
He never played with me, but now I can talk to him, but it feels very akward at times....
But I am glad because he did alot more then put food on me table. He taught my family hard working ethic's and my mother taught us there is 2 different people;
-People that shop like millionaires, dress nice and have $0 in there bank account
-People who chase a bargain, shop like they are broke all the time and only spend a lot of money if there is along term benefit and for that, these people are really rich, but no one knows, even there own children don't know.
It boils down to preparing for the future and being responsible.
I find this insightful!
just don't have kids then.
Not all of us have the luxury of keeping it in our pants after a week straight of rosé on a yacht in the South of France with escorts and interns we probably shouldn’t have expensed yet no one will question.
This year I saw an almost identical IG post from a CCO. Talking about how many fathers day with their kids theyve missed due to Cannes, but that its ok bc its teaching them lessons.
So sad.
Missing Father’s Day with their American kids, you mean.
It is heartwarming to spend Father’s Day with the family they sired in Cannes with the various wait staff whose children now serve rosé to their fathers at Gutter Bar at 6am.
I’m still really blown away by how many men take long paternity leave now. Different times.
Men should not take paternity leave if they have not demanded a DNA test of the newborn to prove that the child is theirs. Women get lonely when you spend your nights and weekends at the office.
