What I always try to stress with people is that following a rigid system can seem boring and annoying, but it makes things easier in the long run. Eventually people get to understand that there's a reason why they have to do what they do. It's important for people to understand the reason for doing things, otherwise it can seem like a waste of time and effort.

Agreed! Ultimately the reasons for doing those things, like keeping organized and efficient, has to matter to them also
