I have an offer for a newly created collections strategy project manager at a mid sized credit union for $95k, 7-9% bonus, and 3 weeks PTO.

I did ask to go up to $100k, but was told my offer was already above the target range.

I like the company and my colleagues to be.

I’m a solar electrician at sunrun. I focus mainly on energy storage systems such as Tesla batteries. Currently making 93k a year with Lots of OT that push me into 150k a year. High stress job and high reward. At 31, I feel I could keep up with the long hours but I know eventually it will have to stop as it’s not sustainable long term. Have people received inflationary raises? My dad received a letter stating that they’re giving him a 6.5% raise + a one time lump sum of $750 bc of inflation, retroactive to July 1st. He works for a university and is part of a union. Kind of feel like my company is being shady because I work in CRE & we do raises + bonuses in February which was when I was planning to ask for an inflationary raise. But I feel like a lot of companies have done this without having their employees ask?

Labor Law question: my husband works for a company that has a union. (Michigan-right to work state). His union has declining numbers and will likely be decertified. MI governor is considering repealing the Right To Work law. If his union is decert. before the law is repealed, and therefore there is no active union at his company, is there any impact to him if the RTW law is repealed? I think the union would have to be voted back in before employees would be forced to join. Correct?

Do you find that most hiring managers won’t budge on that?

I’m in hickory NC with a distribution company. I’ve been with the company for 4 years working within the warehouse being a top performer on a production based job, also earning good money since being able to run well over the production rate causes incentive pay on my check. I recently got a new position as a supervisor in the warehouse and went on salary. I went from 1st to 2nd shift with the job change and my salary is well under what I was making.
