Standing desk recommendation?

Anyone love their home office chair? My back hurts.

Not fashion related but does anyone here have suggestions for an office chair that's both comfortable and stylish, preferably under $200? Thanks!

This week I started a listen through my entire record collection from front to back. I’ll be doing this on workdays when I am in my home office. Did it a few years ago. Collection has grown a lot since then. But I’m not doing comedy and spoken word this time. Too hard to work to those. I expect it to take 4-6 weeks at least. Depending on how many calls I have.

Anyone take a full time remote position? How do you like it? Does the company invest your at home office set up? Did you get a wework or equiv membership to feel like going into an office?

Does anyone have recommendations for specific products for an ergonomic desk setup? I currently use a small desk, my laptop, and a travel monitor. My back is starting to hurt so I'm looking for a good keyboard, adjustable monitors, and a good desk (perhaps standing desk). I'm overwhelmed at all the options out there, so any recommendations would be helpful!

Can you deduct 50% of a home office if you use it 50% for business and 50% for W-2 work?

I know you can deduct a portion of a room if only a portion is used for business, but what about splitting expenses based on usage instead of area?

Have new analyst on the team with an MBA and project experience. After working with them for 2 months it’s apparent that there are 0 consulting skills (excel, outlook, PowerPoint) and they freeze up even on internal calls. They are young and coachable, and I offered to put time into that. However at a company event they made no effort to get to know the team and chose to stick to their familiar colleagues in their home office. I’d like to ask for a new resource but interested in feedback.

I have HDMI hub that allows me to switch monitor screen between two laptops. Is there any cheap resolution for 3 laptops and an extra monitor?

He could only rely on what his mind told him. It must have been very difficult but at the same time, they were very brave in defending their ideas.
