Stop Indian Hate. Seriously. Everybody on the internet uses Indians as a punching bag and it's not fair at all. Every other ethnicity (except white people, sorry :[) are rightfully advocated except for Indians.

Please respect your Indian colleagues. They are humans and deserve it

Especially in countries that experienced high immigration the last 5 years. Like in Canada, people complain about student visas being abused - it was the government that put systems in place not the immigrants themselves.

please cite an example ... I respect them as my they are not just my co-workers or report to me or neighbours ... they are human beings and thus not every Indian you will meet is a saint ... some may be more personable than others ... but hate is a strong word .. except those participating in a genocide, no one is hated in this world.

Wait do you mean white people aren’t defended? Or that they should not be defended?

They aren't. They are bullied as well sometimes but never defended

likefunny

Gonna be honest….not seeing this very much.

What did I miss?

Is it hate? Or just inter-regional joshing?

OP, take your example of white people as a guiding light. You know why nobody defends white people? Because they’re not really bullied. They sometimes are made fun of for this or that, but they are on average and in comparison to other ethnicities globally so well entrenched in power, that they can afford to not care at all. Life goes on. Ask yourself if you truly care about some peasant who slaves away all day posting shit on the internet when you’re admiring the city view from your penthouse or driving down your ranch in a 100,000k SUV. No, you do don’t.

Palestine Clowns advocating for their rights but they're getting it all left, right and centre from Israel and Hamas. Hahaha ooops

I recently interviewed with Natwest and I got confirmation that they wanted to offer a role. Salary negotiations were started. However, now I got an email from the hiring manager that hiring for my role has been paused due to the ongoing cost of living crisis. He expects to resume the hiring for the role in Q1 '23 and would resume the process then. So is it the end? Honestly, I don't expect him to come back. But what do you think?

For those of you in healthcare related account management, what is your healthcare background? I am clinical and getting ready to hire a higher level account manager. I am really biased toward people with clinical/in hospital experience because, quite frankly, healthcare is a different beast - lots of hand holding and change management. I don’t want to miss the right person because of my bias, so im wondering how many healthcare related AMs have healthcare/clinical experience… thanks in advance!

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
