For planners- How much training did you receive from your company vs how much did you learn on your own?

I have no prior planning/forecasting experience and I’m frustrated with the minimal training I’m getting in my new role. I don’t know I can possibly succeed at this company.

Is it worth it to play the long game in public accounting (partner track) or to transition to industry and potentially become CFO, CEO, Controller role?

With PM experience, what’s the easiest way to get out of Advertising?

I am interviewing for a paralegal/legal assistant position and coming from the insurance underwriting field. Any tips or suggestions of topics/products/etc to research/be aware of going into the interview? Are there any designations or schooling I should be looking into if I decide to make the career change?

Should I specialize in Blockchain or AI? I’m a freshman in a CS degree and I can’t decide. My main argument to choose blockchain is the easy entry with little experience and high salary, I plan on growing my skills during the bear market and get a job once the market recovers. Regarding AI, I find this field fascinating but I feel like it requires a lot of experience, degrees and diplomas.

I’m four months into my job and I got put onto a PIP. I worked so hard to break into IB, put up all the hours and even working 2am nights for weeks, learned a ton, and improved a lot along the way as the sole analyst yet this happens. I’m asked to work a Throughput report that seems to be off with forecasting. From my understanding we are off by 2,200 being able to ship. I work in Exports for international. Our main system to pull reporting is SAP. Any suggestions what transaction would provide closer accuracy?

Most of my family members think all I do is write addresses on boxes and toss them in the mail. Is there anyone else who has this problem? It feels like people think of logistics as unskilled labor
