Switching from PA to internal audit manager position. Is a 10% sign on bonus low or considered the norm?

Nice, good luck in the new role. If you don’t mind answering, what does the new position pay and are you glad you stuck around until (near) manager?

I had a similar offer in the NYM area for IA manager, they offered 84K + stock comp, 10% sign on and I think 5% annual bonus. When I declined, they came back and asked what base salary would make me accept an offer. I told them I’d rather stay in PA and make manager first (which is my current goal). It was tempting, great hours and benefits, but I felt I could get more out of PA
