I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

That’s not how money works though
@Duke: Good question, but I was admitted to the 2026 FTMBA class in 2023-2024 before the whole international student debacle started in January 2025, so I'm pretty sure the bar wasn't lowered for my class or the class of 2025. I mean, at least I have >2 YOE lol. Aside from a few special cases like 2+2 students (who apply as undergrads) and MD/MBAs (who typically matriculate to med school with 0-2 YOE), I cannot think of anyone in my class or the class of 2025 with only 2 YOE.
So, how do we explain the admittance of domestic students with <3 YOE at average or no-name employers, mediocre experience/resumes, and "do not recommend" interview results?
I'm sure the bar for international students has been set higher and higher.
