I generally use slides because I normally have to walk others through it via zoom calls. I’m at a new org and seeing a lot of people using docs, they are super dense have lots of tabs and tables that don’t fit on the page. I find them very hard to read through. What’s the deal what’s the go to format?

I’m under the impression that joining the EB group will still give me decent exit ops, has more manageable workflow (less unexpected dumpster fires like in deal-work), and a somewhat better WLB because of my previous point.

Out of curiosity. How would a company view a potential candidate who has a period of unemployment to study for the CPA. I am considering to start studying for the exam but I know I would need to leave my employer in order to give 110%. I am contemplating the idea of at least passing one part while employed. Starting to think about making the switch from agency to brand side. Any tips from strategists who have already made the jump? And is there a level at which it makes the most sense (i.e. should I wait until I make Director and then make the switch, or does it not really matter)?

How far into implementation and execution do you get as a strategist (and what's your specialty). I notice social strategist tend to get way more into the executional portion, even writing copy etc. whereas brand strategy tends to roll off once the briefing process is done. Does brand strategy ever go on shoots or vendor/production meeting and are they responsible for it? Just had an unclear moment where it seemed like I was expected to vet production partners and I didn't realize I should've .

Hello, I could use some advice regarding my compensation. I have 1year and 9 months of experience in social media as I worked with a multinational agency in the middle east. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in marketing and will be graduating in 2023. I am doing a summer internship in marketing in a startup in Montreal. I would like to continue with them as a part time employee until I graduate and was wondering how much should I ask for as an hourly pay with my experience?
