Talking with recruiter about going to PWC risk assurance senior one. What should I be asking for salary wise? Also, what is the promotion timeline at PWC?

Risk assurance - don't, unless you actually like doing mundane tasks and working long hours..

like

Risk assurance does not have the same cohort system as PwC advisory, I believe it's more aligned with audit practice in terms of promotion timeline

like

I was in risk assurance. Started as a senior at 98k, left after a year at 103k (Atlanta)

like

I was hired from industry. Specialized Risk Assurance Cyber.

At least EY risk and PI are part of the same service line (advisory). Pwc RA is completely separate of their advisory group (consulting) and I think actually falls under assurance iirc. A good way to pigeon hole yourself further unless you truly enjoy audit support

like

Optimal PwC Ranks A1, A2, A3, SA1, SA2, SA3....it'll take 2-3 years to get to next level.

Oh really? Oops, sorry about that OP.

Do you want to be an auditor?

I'm assuming OP already is in assurance, so these answers probably aren't useful. OP if you're in EY PI don't go to PwC risk. Otherwise, Id say aim for a 20% bump from your current base if possible? Depends on a lot of factors we don't have

I'm in risk now. This is for NYC. I'd love to switch to PI or TAS but I don't see a clear path to do that. This would be a bump from staff to senior

^thats reallllly high for Atlanta Risk assurance. What group? Exp hire? If this was for internal or it audit then power to you! I know of people making a sizable chunk lower than that in similar markets :)

@Senior Analyst 1, that's pretty solid. Was that at senior 1?

That's a good point for sure

Job base salary presented by HR during screening interview was $130-$145k. I have 3-5 years more experience and more education compared to the posting requirements (BA required, I have a MS). I love the position and what it entails, but was hoping to reach $150-$160 base salary. If offered the position, is this a reasonable ask? This is for big pharma, data analytics in New England.

A few years ago, I proposed a grant to my Board of Ed, but was turned down... so I put it on DonorsChoose instead, and it got fully funded (about $2800), but my school district said I could not accept the grant under any circumstances! So I had to ditch the idea (and the FUNDING!)...

Hello Procurement gurus. At our place, legal team is part of the Requisition workflow where they read the contract provided by the supplier. Once they have okayed the document, they approve the request. This is causing some issues at our end. I want to check with other folks, where does your legal team sits in the workflow? I am an IT guy and never seems legal being part of the req process. Thanks 🙏

Other than nference no company has asked for immediate WFO.
