How can I change the project in Accenture?
I have got offer letter from Cognizant, for gurgaon location, i am supposed to join as Blueprism RPA Developer, what are the chances of re locating to different location after getting into project, if possible can someone help me with number of open opportunities in cognizant for gurgaon location.
I don't want to re locate to a different location from gurgaon.

Doesn't sound right. Nowhere in ACN are you fired for not being promoted. Even in strategy there is opportunity to lateral somewhere else in the firm. Maybe political, maybe an underperformer, maybe low chargeability, not because of no promo.

Wait what? I believe the cc and practice lead have the say. Not the project lead. I know one got bad review but promoted anyway. Oh and why being fired for no promotion?
Up or elsewhere is real everywhere in the firm. Too long at one level with no progression / bad ratings and the practice lead makes a decision with your CC's guidance - either elsewhere in the firm or outside the firm.
3 full years at level. This person was not supported for promo by the terrible project manager, so with new model the person can't be brought up if not supported. Makes me rethink the company I'm working for
New up or out model. Had a buddy get forced out because he didn't make manager (was on his 4th year of consultant)
Up or out is real in strategy. You are let go with two weeks notices and two weeks of severance per year at the firm. You can transfer groups, but you only have two weeks before you are on outside. Keep in mind that I don't know if there were ongoing conversations before two weeks was given.
Up or out isn't a "new model". That was the model when I worked there years ago. Generally speaking, if you weren't moving up you would be moved to a less client facing role or "counseled out"
It's actually one week of severance for each year worked.

Still OP it confuses me why the project manager is relevant but not the CC. It's the CCs job to vouch consoulees promotion.
Current account leadership needs to support for promo, generally leadership follows guidance of current supervisor, ergo, supervisor carries more weight than CC. Though a good CC can influence the decision significantly.
1 week/ year if you're analyst or consultant. 2 week/year if Manager/SM.
