Accountability correlates with Responsibility in this way: When a person accepts personal responsibility for how his/her actions and decisions impact and influence the lives of others, said person holds him-/herself accountable and accepts being accountable to others for the equity and inclusion (or lack thereof) in their spheres of influence.

Hi, we just launched Diversity and inclusion committee at our work place and one of our many initiatives is to share some reminders /notifications about safety and inclusion in common employee platforms/portals e.g There’s no place or time when discrimination is acceptable. How do you professionally address a noticeable lack of diversity on your team? More than 85% of my team is white or white passing, and of the remaining individuals none are Black, Indigenous, or AAPI.

Latinx - help! We used this term in our diversity spotlight discussing Hispanic Heritage Month. One individual said that in English a group of Latinos would just be Latins to be gender neutral. I understand the word is controversial but is “Latins” grammatically correct? I assume we should just say Latin Americans, but trying to understand if Latins is also accurate.

Hey y’all. I went through an exceptionally traumatizing experience a few years ago that has totally & utterly shattered my confidence, self worth, self esteem etc. I have a hard time portraying my work experience + deserving of a new role.

For context, I did well in uni, got into law school but due to finances + the experience in question I didn’t end up going. Kept working in the public sector as a coordinator & now got my scrum master certificate to transfer to SM role in finance/ tech. Help
