EY 🐠: technically will get info via recruiter this week but curius how is the onboarding process? Havent gotten the background check yet. I start in November. Trying to understand the timing of recruiters sending out links for on onboarding. Also, in my application on Careers Page, it still says, “In technical interviews” even though my recruiter has already sent me Offer Terms. Is this anything to worry or am I just overthinking?

You’re not being petty by feeling that way but will be viewed that way if you try to call it out. What’s done is done, you can’t unring that bell. They have shown you who they are, act accordingly in the future.

Learn from this on how you ensure your contributions are visible next time. Also learn from this for when you're a leader: thanks are free. Give them generously.
I would mention in a 121 with my manager that I contributed, but do not expose yourself broadly. People will 100% forget about the deliverable but will remember your reaction/pettiness (totally understood btw)
May be reply all to the email (but don’t include any distribution lists) and mention something like - glad to have supported and contributed to this awesome team.

How did this happen? It’s hard for you to fix by replying, but the person who instigated the announcement can. Can you find/go to them and ask for a correction?

Your right to be annoyed but your best course of action is to move on
I would perhaps say to the person who was recognized, one on one, “hey, nice recognition, well-deserved. I would have liked to see the three of us receive a nod for the teamwork”. And leave it at that. Just a sentence, spoken, not in writing. Leave it at that.

This is likely all on the person who did the shout out, but EY1, M1 and D1 have it correct . Everyone has this happen to them at some point and, while justified to be miffed, any mass "me,too" on your part (or pretty much anything in writing) seems more like the kid who can't stand another kid getting any praise.
Follow your gut that asked the question " would reaching out be petty". Just be aware moving forward of how to position yourself to be acknowledged.

Reply all and credit the third person without saying anything about your self. If done right, you’ll get credit for being part of the successful project AND for being a good team player that credits others.

Nobody is going to remember this in 3 months.
Though I would call it out in your annual review with your supervisor to make sure that you do get the credit for the work. Take the extra step and do the classy thing that the recognized person should have done and let your supervisor know about the third person who also deserves credit.
The person who was recognized should be the one who responds and corrects the record.
If you do it, you’re just going to come off as petty.
You can go directly to your manager and just quietly share that you feel your work is invisible and what do you need to do to get more visibility.
