Recently joined a project that’s been in flight for long time. Onboarding hasn’t been great, not sure who my Point of contact is, where we are in the process (since they started such a long time ago and the SoW is outdated by at least 2 years), what the objectives are for this phase of work. Manager sort of just says things that suggests I should know, which deters me from asking Qs. They recently came across as a bit annoyed when I’d ask a few Qs. Not sure if they fee the onboarding decks…tbc

So I have been on the bench now for 5 weeks and I am starting to get worried that it’s because I am doing something wrong. I am seeing other people staffed in projects but not me. I have spoken to my mentor about this but they keep saying they will staff me on the next one, they are just waiting for the client to give the green signal.
