The Trump administration is pushing 50-year mortgages as the "solution" to housing affordability. On the surface, it looks brilliant.
Your monthly payment on a $400K home drops from $3,327 to $2,577 - that's $750
more in your pocket every month.
But here's the brutal reality they're not telling you:

Over 50 years, you'll pay approximately $1.28 million in total payments versus $800K on a
30-year loan.
That's an extra $480,000 going straight to the bank's shareholders - not your net worth.

I think it's in everybody's best interest to pay off their debts as soon as possible. People need to do the math themselves and realize where their money is going when they are just throwing money away on interest payments.

There is no going back without a massive colaborative shift in the globalists positions of "what to do with us all". So, that being said, it still does get hard working lower income individuals into houses that individuals such as themselves should've had decades ago. Perhaps even a century. I support it if it's done right. It may be done right in the first stages and then be destroyed like everything else. Time will tell.

Of course its in everyone's best interests to pay off debt, but "the why" is not in their knowledge. Basic finance is not taught in basic schooling. All by design. However, in an understanding of the views of the globalist elitists, we must have all levels of income, class, status and careers. Otherwise the system doesn't work without socialism or communism. Then again, the overall idea we all hate supports population control which unfortunately is what it must be about. I, along with many others, just don't agree with how it's done. War's are purchased and so are viruses. The rest is purely economical design.

15 year fixed rate or get very creative. there's a lot more creativity then debt bondage. our parents reality isn't ours. the 2008 bubble destroyed that. Ask Trump how quickly did he payoff his loans? Nice attempt to help but i think that's insane just like 7 year car loans. how's that working? well constructed collabs can be one remedy to building affordable communities. local resources.

Hey guys, so I have competing offers. One at Bank of America for 124, and one at Allspring for 110.

Does anybody work at Allspring? They did not provide any information regarding benefits, 401k match, or any annual bonus structure. I was told, verbally, that the Bank of America bonus is something like 15 to 20%, but nothing in writing.

Just wondering if anyone has any knowledge about compensation structure at Allspring, or any opinions on the culture there. I would be in Charlotte.
