You mind sharing link for more information on this?
That's awesome, I had no idea this was a thing. Is there a degree track, or is it just designed to allow you to take whichever individual courses may benefit your career?

I need a few more birthdays for that.
My husband teaches at a one of the universities within the system and has had a lot of students like this. He says that since his classes are in high demand (both required classes and more niche) he typically asks them if they are taking the class seeking a degree or auditing, and then has to decide based on demand each semester. Meaning more likely to get a seat if degree seeking.
It seems to be for a degree or for courses. I can’t imagine getting a full degree on a space available basis is achievable. Georgia State (search GSU 62) has the most information posted from what I’ve found so far.
Maybe reach out to the school/field of your choice and ask to be connected to someone who is doing this. I know of someone who did a masters at Tech then went on to do a PhD.
I have several friends who went there and absolutely loved it. From what I have heard it is a really great school and they have some really awesome programs. Defintiely worth looking into for sure.
