Ok, thank you!

There is usually a travel code, but ask HR

As KPMG 1 said, there is a travel code. Unless you work on the flight, charge that. And don't charge the unassigned/admin code

Ask your senior. On my job we charge it to the client WBS.

I have a third round interview this Thursday, but after I sent my availability, I booked a flight for work that is causing a problem. The interview ended up scheduled for 3:30-4:15, and I'm supposed to be on a 5pm flight out of LGA. Is there a reliably quiet place at LGA to do the interview (I don't have lounge access)? Would it be a bad idea to say my availability changed and I can't do that time slot anymore? Or should I cancel / rebook my flight to later at night?

Recently joined the firm as a project delivery specialist. During recruiting, the team harped on how great my background was and how much a good fit I would be for the firm/project...

Well, I was on an onboarding call and they were talking about staffing and projects. The presenter said to reach out to them if you don’t think your project is a good fit. In his words “you were hired into the firm, not a specific project. We see you here long term... With the exception of PDM model” 😅

Hey everyone, I promise not to hound anyone! I’m a Houston recruiter. Focus on associates in TX only. Law firm side - not in house. I have Big Law openings in real estate, M&A ( public and PE) with large signing bonuses, finance (rare opening with NYC firm in Houston), project development and exec comp. Open to relocation candidates. Check me out on LinkedIn as I post a ton. Would love to set up a call.

How is the career in Pursuits in any Big 4? Does it pay as good as core consulting work? How is the work life balance? I want to make a shift from client chargeable work to BD work for better work life balance. Is it worth switching?

Client recently offered me a job for an open req (industry eq SM). The work is flexible, the req is just to get me in the door but I decide what I want to work on (which I trust to be true). Much better culture, wlb, etc., but I’d be taking a 100k pay cut and be an IC with no team. Is it worth taking a step back in pay and responsibilities, or does it seem possible to get all in one?
