I just saw my quarterly check that is coming & it's hard not to feel blessed, & like a fraud at the same time. I have already out earned my wife for the year, before my Q2 check. She's a police officer & works more me. My checks are larger than a full year at my previous job. I know I busted my bum to get here, & this is how it works, but I was raised middle class. Surreal!

Working at a boutique transactiona firm. First year did not receive much guidance and made a few errors, one of which could have been a deal but ended up being fine but overall I worked hard, billed hours above target and showed a willingness to learn.
