Depends on what you think is legit... if you’re buying a list, and honestly believe that these people are just sitting there waiting for your call, you’re gonna have a bad time. It’s just like any other cold calling, except you have a basic idea of what they may have... but they usually don’t, or if they do they won’t tell you about it over the phone.

I must have missed that meeting. I started from scratch and have bought two lists, both were complete garbage. Mostly rentals and people who don’t live there any more. I’m not sure if you missed the two replies before me but they pretty much said the same thing and didn’t appear to work for Jones

CFP study programs:

I'm a little confused on Danko - does he offer a self-study option for the coursework requirement? On his website it looks like each module has a 4-day virtual class which I wouldn't be able to attend due to working full time. Does this program also include self-study material, and the classes are just supplementary/optional? I was also looking at Dalton for self-study and Danko for test prep. Thoughts?
