Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

100% you should be getting even more of a raise. Especially because it’s a small company, more work is needed by each employee. Including the ones that have been there for 10+ years.
Talk with your supervisor. First, Let your supervisor know what you like about the company and how you feel that you have contributed to its growth, then ask if there is any room in the budget for a raise and restate the things that you like about the company. Salary negotiations should never take a negative tone. You want to frame your request as positively as you can and showcase yourself as an asset. Look for a positive time to make the request. If you have a performance evaluation coming up that would be optimal, if not, then schedule a time to talk with your boss. Don't make the request on the fly and good luck.
